Congestion Charge fine....I wasn't there!

I lease my car through a work scheme and I've just received an email from the leasing company stating that they want £95 from me for a Congestion Charge penalty notice (plus their "administration" fees and VAT etc etc etc)
On the day of the charge, I wasn't even at work and I certainly wasn't driving in London. Looking at the TfL site, it appears that the lease company will have to appeal on my behalf, although I've just received the email which is more than 28 days after the "offence" and so outside of the timescale for appeals.
I'm not going to pay this, it wasn't me and it wasn't my car. No-one else drives it, and I've never even driven to the site of the alleged offence.
What do I do now? Do TfL provide camera/video evidence? There doesn't seem to be anywhere on their site telling me how to appeal if they have made a mistake, which they definitely have.
I bet the leasing company will charge me for their work in arranging the appeal so I'll lose out either way
I'm surprised at this, I've never had trouble with TfL before now, but I'm not a happy bunny tonight.
Any thoughts/advice?

Tell the lease firm what you have told us and tell them to appeal ion the basis it wasn't your car (if you have possession of this car all the time).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
