    The front line staff may well not have access to old records and "closed" accounts, however the PPI team is probably setup to flag an alarm up for any customer who has previously had debt written off.

    If someone doesn't pay off a debt and then tries to get money off the bank it is allowed by the FOS to offset some or all of the PPI win against the debts that were not paid even if the 6 year period has gone.

    People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

    Wright six letters today saying refund will remain with cms 28days to process again rang them no record of me advised to ring ppi team asked them for a sort code ac no I have none as ac closed but they hav identified arreas any info regards
