PCN cancelled!!!!!!!

Forgive me if I have posted this in the wrong thread but...

Today I received a letter from UKCPS stating that they had cancelled my ticket on first appeal. I didn't even need popla!

They stated "this is a one time gesture of goodwill and will not be repeated"... Whether I got lucky or what, I don't know... But I'm delighted!

A big thank you to everyone on here who took the time to advise me and also to the ones who have created the fantastic stickies!

A message to anyone new to this... FOLLOW THE STICKIES to the letter.

Well done, did you have an original post with details of your ticket/what you did to get it cancelled?

UKCPS (and UKPC, a different firm, and Parking Eye now as well) do this all the time - great to hear!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Are they up to something or just trying to save £27 and the inevitable public spanking at POPLA?

It has taken them long enough to realise that £80-£100 for a minor breach of a dodgy contract is just too much, if they reduced the amount to a more realistic £10 they would probably have far fewer appeals.

This year the memsahib has collected two council tickets which I have promptly pair for the simple reason that, at £30 each, it is not worth my time appealing them.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

I'd send her out to work to pay them off if I were you.

He can't do that - her role is in the kitchen and bedroom I suspect.
