please help.
I recieved a ppn noticed from OPC when I parked in my girlfriends building car park stating I had 'no valid permit' (which is true but did put a note in windsccreen saying visitor) I never normally park in her building car park but dropped her off in the evening and stayed the night. she had been in and out of hospital all week for back related issues and where I normally park is aprrox 5min walk away. It is not a paying car park and only has 1 visitors space for aprrox 75 flats which was occupied at the time. also do I have to wait for something sent through the post i.e. with photographic evedence before I should make an appeal?
many thanks

  • Just do exactly as it says in the thread below...

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4816822

Wait for your NtK - gives you extra appeal points for if it gets as far as POPLA. Then send in the standard 1st appeal.

If it gets as far as POPLA, then post your draft on here before you send it (with personal details removed).

Then you let everyone in the block of flats know how easy it is to beat these jumped up demands - the 'Walk Through' process is great when printed out and distributed to everyone.
  • ok will do... many thanks...
if I do not recieve a NTK through the post does this mean I don't have a ticket or should I just wait about 21 days and appeal using the info in my ticket I recieved on my screen?

You do have a ticket - you said you got one. I would wait and see and then send the template appeal from the Newbies thread when the letter eventually arrives. DO NOT add stuff about what happened, don't imply who was driving. Just wait for the NTK then send the template first appeal as keeper.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
