The outside flap of the above as broken off my upvc door.I have taken the 4 screws out of the front part of the box on the outside and the 2 on the inside and I can't get the old box out of the door,what is causing this.

If you're certain you've removed all the screws, has it perhaps been sealed to the door with silicone?0

No sign of any silicone,managed to get a thin knife under one side of the outside plate to try and prise it out but no joy0
