Running Out Of Time for Appeal to POPLA?

  • Thanks people. Feeling a bit more confident now I've found this wonderful support network.
I'll keep you updated on my progress with this...
  • A couple of quick questions.

When I fill out the PE website appeal form do I have to enter a tel. number and an email address or can I leave them blank?

Is it worth attaching the driver's shopping receipt or not? If so how should I reference it in the context of the rest of the template?

    Thanks

Any E-mail address should not give any clue as to your identity. I would leave out the phone number as all communications with PE should be in written form. PE are particularly litigious and you need to keep a record.

Along with your soft first appeal to PE you should also complain to the retailer/s where the driver was shopping. Tell them that they cannot expect future custom if they treat customers in this way. Ask them who's stupid decision it was to appoint PE and fall for the car park maximisation scam? Tell them they have been sold a pup. Look up Co-op & CEL and see what a mess the Co-op got into. Makes an interesting read!

Yes, copy a shopping receipt as they are often under instructions to cancel for legitimate customers.
I do hope it's not Morrisons, they have lost enough customers already through PE.
