Ebay tips

I am going to start sticking loads of stuff on ebay that I want shifted.

Does anyone have any tips for best practices?

I tried to sell a brand new S4 case a while ago, in a box. It got no bids and I started it at £1!

Also, for larger items how would I calculate shipping?

Comments

  • For shipping larger items I'd have a look at other delivery options besides the post office. collect+ parcel2go etc.

I like my autions to end 8-9pm, as I think more people are at home then. I've also had really good results with items finishing on sunday afternoons/evenings.
I love a bargain. Now mortgage and debt free. hurray!!:smileyhea

I've moved this across to the eBay board where I think you will get more suggestions.

For postage though, do always refer to the RM site and then compare that to couriers for larger items.

Look at the items you want to sell and you will get an idea about what you can expect to get for them.

There are thousands of sellers selling phone cases for pennies with free delivery, so they're not a great example tbh

Was the S4 case £1 inc postage or + postage?

    Was it an S-View one?

If others think the same as me, when i want a phone case i want it now. I
wont wait for an auction to run.

Best value BIN. Done and usually it arrives the next day.
