Any chance of Reclaiming from Claims Companies?

About a year ago, I was contacted by one of those Claims companies who said they could reclaim my PPI for me from Barclays. I was at a rather low point and did not feel I could do it myself! How silly of me!!!! Is there any chance I can reclaim from this claims company. It was a rather large PPI claim from Barclays!

What exactly would you "reclaim"?FocusedandDetermine wrote: »Is there any chance I can reclaim from this claims company.
The cost of their service was outlined in the legally-binding contract you signed with them. If the complaint the company sent on your behalf was successful, then the money you paid them was a perfectly legitimate charge for the "work" they did.0 -

What wrongdoing are you alleging against the CMC?I was at a rather low point and did not feel I could do it myself! How silly of me!
Yes it was but that doesnt put the CMC in the wrong.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -

None whatsoever.
You won't find very many people on here with any time for claims companies. But if you signed a contract with them and they did their part then you need to keep yours.0 -
I reckon your best bet is get a CMC to reclaim your fees.0
