Virgin Plus recordings

Hi,

I wondered if any of you lovely techie people could help me out a bit?

I have a programme recorded that I would really like to have on a disc so it can be kept safe. I have found a function on the box that lets you tape from the box to a dvd recorder or vhs tape but I don't have access to either of these things :o( Is there any way of connecting the virgin box up to my laptop and using my dvd rewriter? I have had a look at the V box and there is space for an ethernet cable as well as a usb cable. Is there any way of using these to connect the box to the laptop?

I would really appreciate some help as I am frazzling my last few brain cells trying to find a way around the dvd recorder/ video recorder problem!

Thanks,

MBM xx
