I'm hoping someone can help. On windows and google chrome - I often use CTRL and F to find items/words on websites.
Now suddenly the search box is not appearing on my screen, although it still highlights the words after I've typed them in. How do I fix it so I can see the box again please?

If you go to the Chrome options menu in the top right (this displays a drop-down menu) and go to 'Settings'
click - show advances settings (this will be right at the bottom)
find 'System'
Uncheck 'use hardware accelleration'
quit and reopen Chrome
does Ctrl-F work now?0 -
