Paid for ipad repair came back not working!!

Hi my son's ipad had the headphone jack stuck in outlet and also the power to the screen would not work. I paid elite computers £17 to send it and £141 for repair. When I t came back it worked for a while with it pausing itself whilst he watched videos etc and then he could not log in as screen frozen. I have contacted them they said they want £17 to return again and £10 min to look at it and if it is not to do with the original fault maybe more. I have told them I want a free return and I am not happy to pay more as I have paid for a job and a working ipad and that's not what I had!! Also a crack has appeared which they say they won't cover under their warrenty . I had no t&c's sent me! Please help:)

  • Often smaller companies will ask you to pay for return yourself but then reimburse you should the issue be related to them. Obviously the slight problem with that is that they are then marking their own homework but despite that I've been lucky enough never to personally have an issue
