I brought a hotpoint fridge freezer from currys n tuk out a 5 year warranty. The fridge has stopped working an hotpoint engineer came twice to repair it which he couldn't. Hotpoint contacted me with a new fridge like for like model. I dnt really want another hotpoint fridge freezer wud like vouchers as that is what it also states on the terms n conditions on warranty. Thy refusing so I said to hotpoint give me a another model which was slightly different spec n cost 30 pounds more but still 20 pounds less then wat I originally paid. But she said if u want this model u wil hav to pay the extra. She said we only do like for like. She said jus because I paid 400 for the fridge freezer 5 years ago we dnt go by price just the specification . Any ideas how to take this further. Thank you

You have had a fridge freezer for nearly five years and they are offering you an identical new one, what are you complaining about? Sorry, I should be a little less direct with a new poster, but you are being offered an excellent deal. You have already had five years use from the item and will end up with a brand new one.0
