    Hi guys
    Ive gone for the celestron-nature-dx-8x42-binoculars advised by forceten.
    Thank you everyone for all your informative help its been very helpful towards deciding the right pair which I feel they will have now.
    Swarovski ones do look great but SLIGHTLY more than I could afford. Maybe if they take to using these binoculars ill advised the Swarovski ones next ;)

    they get good ratings in that price range and being 8X42 they are considered the best size for birding and walk about wildlife, not to big and not to small
