Is it possible on long haul flight?

Yes, if your seat has an AC power socket. On a recent flight to India my seat in premium economy had power outlets, however standard economy didn't. Some advice I offer however, is that you use the original charger plug for your ipad (rather than a USB port if your seat has one) in case there are power surges.If you will the end, you must will the means.0

It can depend on the airline, the plane, the route, and where you sit.
What is provided doesn't seem to be standardised either. Everything from USB, 15v DC to 110v AC.
The latter might take a standard 240v 3 pin plug or only the two pin US and European types.0 -
They are also usually 2 pin sockets in seats where they do exist so make sure you have a travel adaptor too.0

Seatguru.com may have more info. On that website you can select the airline and the aircraft and it will show you the the seat width, leg room, whether the seats have power etc.0
