hudl2 - sound making background buzzing noise

I have a hudl2 - bought last week. While I was listening to BBC radio iPlayer on it today, it started to make a buzzing background noise on the sound. I turned it off and on to a different show and after about 3 minutes the buzzing started again. always the same now - whatever I listen to after a few minutes the buzzing starts up. anyone else got this or had it on the original hurl?

Is this only on the Internet ? Have you tried playing ordinary sound file eg mp3s ?

Only applies to the radio BBC player, not the tv or Itv player

Sounds like poor radio reception .
try a factory reset is what i would do first ,
make sure earphones are fully home if it requires them as the antenna .

Ignore the above advice.

The Hudl 2 does NOT have inbuilt radio receiver (FM-VHF)- BBC radio player is done by internet streaming.

Rather than do factory reset, try uninstalling BBC radio player and re-installing.

Do you have the 3 BBC icons - BBC Iplayer, BBC radio player and BBC media player ?
