UKPC - Parking Charge

Hi guys, first of all many thanks to all of you including Martin for providing help and advice to those in need. Its the deeds like this which makes us believe in the spirit of humanity.
Now the issue that happened to me while doing shopping on 16th Oct 2014. I received a penalty charge cause it was, "Not parked correctly within the markings of the bay or space." Its not that I took 2 bays while parked as there are spare trollies adjacent to where I parked and on the passenger side the car was pretty close so to leave some space so that my missus can get out I leave some space. I think the penalty charge was harsh and uncalled for. I copied the template but I need some advice as in what are my chances in revoking the charge.
Many Thanks once again...

I would say your chances are 100% that you will not need to pay.
Presumably just like the last time you got a PCN?0 -
Here is what happens when UKPC see the template first appeal from this forum:

How awful that you paid one!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

And it is not a penalty charge!0

I have couple of questions,
1) Should I sent the letter via recorded delivery or a normal proof of postage is enough?
2) Should I sent the scanned copy of the bill along with template or just just the letter of appeal?
Many Thanks for your valuable advice and help.0 -
I'm one of the ones who had my ticket cancelled after the initial appeal but I was a bit nervous initially. I copied and pasted the template onto the form on their website and got an instant acknowledgement by email.
The next thing I received was a letter through the post to say it was cancelled.
It really was that easy. Good luck.0 -
Yep as ChrisW says, put the appeal in online (not need to change it or attach anything) and await the letter bleating that they made an 'admin error'!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
