Hello everyone, would it be okay if I joined for this month please?
Have set a total of 150.00 to include groceries, cleaning stuff and petfood. This is for myself, DD14, 1 dog and a kitten.

Spent £28.55 yesterday and shouldn't need anything now until next week.

Oh and my month will run from the 1st to the 30th.

Been out shopping all morning - done some food shopping, some christmas gift shopping & bought some wine for christmas (if it lasts that long! Money has been taken from the Xmas budget). Spent a fair amount this morning but all budgeted for.

Food shopping was split between Ald! & Morries and I spent £13.78 which is good as I allow £20 for my top up shop. Total spend so far this month is £64.70/£250.

Been out this morning for milk and a few other bits. Had to buy a photo from school so have taken that out of my grocery budget this week as my other budgets are all a bit tight. Now got £8.61 left till Friday, but shouldn't need to buy much!

    Hi

This site is great for any one feeling under the weather, we can vent and then take a deep breath and start again. Please stay with us and we can march onwards together.
  • Just back from shopping and spend a huge £107.48. at Li*l and Morris*ns
However its not as bad as it sounds because
    - £24.98 was on boots for mum and sister which mum will give me the money for.
-£15 was on fireworks for tomorrow and new year
    - £19.99 was on stuff for DD ( boots, pjs and a book)
This makes my grocery spend today £47.51, making our total spend so far £70.84/300
This included £6 of coffee for the machine so I'm quite impressed.
I don't do a strict meal plan but do roughly plan dinners for the week:
Tonight we are having gnocchi with quorn, veg and sauce.
Tomorrow- sausages in buns with jacket potatoes.
The rest of the week- chicken korma with rice,
roast chicken with cauliflower cheese, stuffing and veg,
    vegetable lasagne,
    spaghetti carbonara
    fish and chips.
Hoping for a couple of NSDs now :)
