Just been in the bathroom, she's got rid of my collection of not quite empty stuff from the cabinet and replaced it with girl type stuff and there's a squeegee in the shower, presumably so I can play window cleaner.

I shall try it out in the morning.

Aha! There's a good Toad! Didn't take long then!!

Oh God, she's found the other guitars!

Fifteen guitars isn't that bad. I hope she doesn't go poking about in the spare rooms, if she finds the old ride on mower that I'm in the middle of fixing, the reason there were spanners in the bedside table, there's no telling what she might do.

I was just about to say how lucky Mrs Toad is as Mr Duke has 5 guitars on our living room wall! But 15
  • This has made me giggle so much :)

I like things being clean, but I'm not too bothered about everything having places and whatnot. We rearranged the living room at the weekend, I had great fun throwing bits of crap out (I could never be a hoarder!) but I can see him wanting to rearrange the rest of the house now >.<

Mr Toad has my heartfelt sympathy. I work on the principle that I know where things are and prefer them to be left where they are for when I need them. Wife works on the strange principle that there is a proper place for everything and everything should be in its proper place.:(

    Sometimes I think I married a womble.:o

Exactly! What's the point of putting stuff away at night when you're going to be using it first thing the next morning?

It worked a treat, I got loads of water off, much better than using my hands, it made drying myself a lot easier.

Didn't she ask permission first to touch your stuff? How rude!

I've just had a right old clear out in the kitchen. We stopped eating most carbs in April, hence the toaster had a pile of letters, junk mail, crap on top of it. I couldn't find a cheque I knew arrived on Saturday and thought it had found it's way into this pile. So I've gone through and ditched, recycled, made a pile for proper filing, only to discover the cheque was on the coffee table in the lounge......

The toaster needs a good clean now and a home in a cupboard (just in case we ever get visitors who want toast) before it starts accumulating junk again.

    Nothing wrong with that.

Said by the person whose mate informed her that the boyfriend is probably moving in on the quiet, as not only has he managed to acquire an office space of his own, there are now his guitars, pedals, input devices, music and assorted musical paraphernalia taking up vast amounts of space in the very small living room in addition to my own.

Because eventually you find yourself knee deep in stuff in every room in the house and your need climbing gear to navigate your way around,
.................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)
