Shower Enclosure Technical Infomation

We are having an issue with a p shaped enclosure. The door overlaps. The tray has been fitted under the tiling rather than flush against tiling. This has thrown the alignment out.
I have been asked by the person who fitted for a technical helpline number. I purchased the enclosure years ago and I am not sure that they are still in business. I have tried searching online for the German base company, Asem but I have been unable to find anything.
I just wondered if anybody had heard of this company please?

An observation that does not directly answer your question. The shower tray should be fitted under the tiles - this is good practice. You may find that your tray has an upstand detail to facilitate this and to make sure that it is installed like this.
If so, the key is to get the screen appropiate to the tray, and have it fitted correctly. There should be adjustment with the side posts when it was fitted originally - this allows the screen to fit the tray.0 -
The enclosure and tray were a package. Looking at the picture on the box it looks like the tray has been designed to go flush against the wall which would not be ideal because as you say it is good practice to recess the tray to prevent leaks.
The instructions are not the best in the world and I would assume that the picture on the front of the box is for illustration purposes only.
If I am honest the only thing I can see to do is to take it out. I was just clutching at straws that I would be able to get a helpline number.0 -
Instead of ripping out the tray why don't you simply recess the shower enclosure. It'll be a lot easier0
