Am hoping someone can help me.

Am I able to go back in a period of time during the last 24 hours to read a comment that was posted on here by me and the replies.

I remember someone telling me about a website that can do this.

My comments and the replies have since been removed

It's called the Wayback machine, but 24 hours is nowhere near long enough for it to be there. If you don't have it cached on your machine, that's pretty much the end of it.
If you need to keep a copy of something in future, screenshot it.

You can use Google's cache. MSE is very popular, so Google caches it frequently (although it's a little bit hit-and-miss). Do a search for the thread title (or some of the text in the post) to get the page up in the search results, and click the "Cached" link.
