New Laws regarding Internet Trolls

Not sure if this is the right place to post this (if not please move it).

A new law has been introduced so that internet trolls who persistently troll can be prosecuted and sent to prison for a couple of years. You can read about it in this link.

It might be useful for MSE and for anyone who is trolled by these vile cowardly people.

The "new law" is at present just a proposal, so it's not useful yet.

I'm puzzled at how you think MSE has a role in this?

Trolls think they are untouchable. And perhaps to a large extent most of them are? It is very hard to prosecute that number of people, and especially hard to clamp down on what happens in cyberspace.

Maybe I'm just naive but isn't cyberspace like the TV? If you don't like what you're watching you can change channels or just turn it off all together.

Unless someone is actually being stalked, with identity known, i don't know why people take it so seriously - log off from Twitter, or anything else, if you don't like the comments.

    Simple really.

Trolls are idiots, so why give them kudos and attention?

You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset. ;)
