google chrom

Since a update to windows, chrome does not open and tries to open lots of the pages. Have un/re/installed but no joy. Have googled and followed every advice but it seems no one can get to the bottom of it.

Google just does not respond to the growing number of people who have this problem. Any good tec people have any answer's.

Having to use IE or firefox (dont like it).

I had to do a rebuild of windows 7 and clicked on the first result on google to download chrome, took a long time to install and looked like chrome but was was full of malware, links opening pages not supposed to, took a while to get right.

Maybe its time for a malware scan with anti-malwarebytes.

    Hung up my suit!
It sounds like a virus to me. I would restore to an earlier working version of your operating system from startup (F8 etc) , and then uninstall and install the latest version of Chrome.

BTW I use Chrome with no problems on Vista.

That's it, after 2 days and trying all the fixes i could find, i have given up and uninstalled

chrome. Have norton and malwarebytes all clean.

No T. rapport, System restored twice, updates for everything uninstalled and reinstalled all the update's, followed everybody's advice, watched everything giving advice. Even the forums are running out of things to do and lot's of people having this issue. So will try chrome again when it has updated itself
