Playa Blanca, Lanzarote in November

I believe the weather in Lanzarote in November can be up to 21C (ish).

I'm just trying to decide whether to book a week from 20th Nov, or 27th Nov. The latter is cheaper by £40, but wondered if waiting that extra week might mean less chance of nice weather?

I know you haven't got a crystal ball and can't predict the weather, but wondered if anyone had experience of travelling to Lanzarote and found a significant difference between the temperature in November, compared to December?

Never been on a 'winter sun' holiday before!

You can check historical weather here...

For example, last year it was warmer on the 27/11 than it was a week earlier on the 20/11.

It's a bit hit and miss really - a bad week (normally rainy rather than cold) can turn up any time. It is unusual to get days and days of rain, so you should still get some sun.

Would ignore the published temperature - these are taken in the shade, can be 20+ degrees higher in the sun.

We went for new year last year and the temperature was about 22 all week. We only got 1 day of cloud and no rain at all. It was beautiful and we got lovely tans :D
I have just booked to go back again this new year and I'm hoping for the same.I cannot wait to go :D

Also currently thinking of going in December, only for 3 days though. Does anyone know how much it costs to get to Playa Blanca from the airport? Just wondering if there or Matagorda/PDC would be better to stay rather than travel down there.

I've been in November/December before, weather can be a bit mixed, but should get some decent weather at least. Personally I wouldn't go to Costa Teguise as I went there one afternoon and it was particularly chilly due to the wind there.

Is that on the bus? Hadn't considered that! Would work for our journey there but travelling in the early hours of the morning coming back so maybe book a transfer that way.

    Thanks for the tip!

Matagorda is right next to the airport so could reasonably even get a taxi rather than a transfer. Have yet to find out about Playa Blanca yet though!

I loved Matagorda if that's any help! Just trying to avoid booking the same place twice so trying PB this time.

We stayed in playa Blanca in the summer and our pre booked taxi was £35 each way. It was fairly windy too..

Yes, straight from the airport. Get on the right bus (61 I believe?) and it only makes one stop in PDC before heading down to PB. Haven't done it with luggage though, but seen plenty of other people doing it.
