Solar panel lease on title but none installed
white_noise
I am looking to buy a house and we have had an offer accepted.
The house has no solar panels installed on the roof but my solicitor has just come back that the house has a solar panel lease on the title, which is a big surprise to me (also they want more money to do the conveyancing).
Anyway this was not mentioned by the vendors or the EA, and now I am considering my options. Either the lease was taken out and panels were never installed or have since be taken off, but not off the title. or my solicitor is in error or for some reason the panels are on the title.
For the time being I am going to cancel the valuation and building survey until this is sorted out as if there is a lease there I am put off buying until I know the full implications.
I want the lease off the title though I know that this may cost the venders a good sum of money, but I don't know even if I can get my mortgage.
Any thoughts or considerations?

Checked the land registry and also got the EA to check with the vendor, looks like the solicitor has it wrong!
Thanks for that Mr Solicitor!0 -
Maybe he got his clients mixed up, or got the wrong address
