correspondence from bank of default

Hello,
My credit file is saying I have defaulted on a current account with natwest each month for 6 years! !

How often should I have received correspondence from the bank about this?

I have received no letters or warnings- would you normally receive notice of default each month or just the first time it defaults?

How much 'chasing' would you expect from the creditor?

Many thanks

  • Current accounts don't need to issue a default notice.

It's not a new default, it's the same one each month. It drops off your file 6 years from default date.

When did it default and how much for?
