Credit card fraud

in Credit cards
Hi,
My Halifax credit card had a unknown transaction today of £1200 from "www.bookinggroup.com Riga" from "LVA". Googling the source I realised that https://www.bookinggroup.com is a car rental site and LVA is Lativa and Riga is the city in Latvia. I have never been there nor have I booked any car on this site.
Looking at history, I went to croatia on holiday back in July and did all my spending on Halifax credit card. My car rental(Enterprise car booked on Holiday autos) then was booked on another credit card and as security swipe I did give them Halifax credit card to Enterprise. I feel maybe my card details are stolen from then.
What are my chances to get back £1200 from Halifax as fraud transaction?

The chances are 100%. I guess you have already contacted Halifax before posting.0

Yes I have contacted Halifax. Card is blocked. Any idea if I will have to pay initially while they investigate? Any idea of approx. time it usually takes to get refunded (in case I have to pay up initially)?0

If you didn't authorise it - you didn't incur the debt and their statement of account is wrong. It's not your debt.
They should freeze the debt and any interest while they investigate.0 -
I had fraud on my Halifax credit card, they were really quick at spotting it, refunding my card and sending a replacement card.Don't wait for your ship to come in, swim out to it.0
