Pre payment Meters

I currently have pre payment gas and electric with British Gas but wondering if there are any other companies who are cheaper. Any recommendations please?

You can compare tariffs just like anyone on a credit meter. Just make sure you put your tariff in and that you have a prepayment meter and it'll tell you which is cheapest.

Your energy supplier should be able to tell you your annual usage if you don't know those figures.

:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p

Ukpower.co.uk is an easy to use comparison site showing all the tariffs and daily standing charges, two minutes will get you all the info, enter your approx yearly useage in either money or kwhrs. Ideally , get rid of them for credit meters for an approx 25% reduction on your energy supply if you are prepared to pay by direct debit. Dont forget to switch through Moneysavingexperts Cheap Energy Club for a cashback bonus

I had a letter from BG today, saying I have £15 credit on my electric key if I take the letter and key to a paypoint, is this legit?

Sounds like the dual fuel discount - do you have gas and electricity from them?
They'll credit your key with the money.
