Had to quit my job because my bike broke, can I get JSA?

I changed to a new job from my old job, when I was cycling to work on the second day, a part of my bike came off making it unrideable, I can't afford to fix it so I have had to quit. There are no alternative forms of transport due to the time of day I had to go there (5am) I'm looking for a job but I was wondering if this means I am eligible for JSA?

Just going on what you have posted, hopefully not.0 -
That would mean I would have to wake up at 1:30 or 2am and is also extremely dangerous on pitch black main roads with no path...0

What part of your bike fell off?0

Well first it started to make this crunching sound and then the right pedal and crank arm came off, when I got off my bike to look at it I saw that the part that goes through the middle connecting the pedals is all worn down and completely broken (it's an old bike)What part of your bike fell off?0 -
No, everyone at work is local to the workplace
I wonder what the jobcentre think I should do
Probably move closer to your work, thousands do.
I know that when I was moving house a couple of years ago I only looked for a flat that was near the bust route to my work, just in-case my car broke down. We’ve had to remove your signature. Yes I've had a look, thanks
The problem isn't that I can't get to that job, I don't have that job any more
They've employed a new cleaner to fill my place0
