Hi I was seeing someone for about a year 6 months in to help me out as he put it he brought me a car he had a lot of money and he was flashing his cash
well we separated he said the car was mine and a gift he didn't want it back I had to get the car mot and taxed so I asked for all the documents! he couldn't find them so I apples for new v5 form which I got and I not and taxed the car

as time went on the car was too expensive for me to run so I sold it and brought smaller car well now my ex is asking for the car back I don't have it
when I told him he told me I needed to give him the money for it I am sacred cos I am a single mum and a carer to my nan I don't have the money to give him I wouldn't have kept the car if he wasn't so insistent that I keep it!
is there anything legally he can do I don't have any of the documents of the car he brought me now but dvla didn't even have record of him owning the car when I applied for the car it was registered to some bloke 100 miles from where he lived any advice please this bloke is very scary and I don't need criminal record or bailiffs at my door thanks

Any change you can add some paragraphs and/or punctuation to that post - it's unreadable at the moment!

Don't know why you posted in this forum? This forum is for dealing with private parking companies.

However if he gave you the car as a gift, then the only way he could dispute this is in a civil action. He could take you to a civil court and try and convince a judge that he didn't mean to give the car to you.

Police would not be interested unless he claimed you stole it.
