Balance transfer - Retransfer!

in Credit cards
Just a quick question.
My wife has just taken out a new credit card in order to transfer a balance from an existing card that is coming to the end of its interest free period. Just before opening the new one she registered and paid for a Uni course of about £1000. The balance transfer request on the new card included this latest expenditure.
But now she is pulling out of the course and getting it refunded, which will be put on the old credit card. So the card which is coming to the end of its interest free period will be in credit by over a £1000.
What is the best way to deal with this. Can we transfer the credit to the new card?
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Just spend on the credit card that has the £1000 credit until its down to zero would be the obvious way to deal with this."Dream World" by The B Sharps....describes a lot of the posts in the Loans and Mortgage sections !!!0

Contact the credit card company and ask them to pay the money into your current account. This should be free. You can then do whatever you want with the money.0

It's an arbitrary number that means nothing when it comes to applying for credit.
ALWAYS HAVE A DIRECT DEBIT SET UP FOR THE MINIMUM PAYMENT ON YOUR CREDIT CARDS, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER YOU PLAN TO LOGIN AND PAY EACH MONTH.0 -
