Inter-railing around Europe 2015

Hi Guys,

I plan to go around Europe next year for around 3 weeks.

I am not 100% on what countries I want to visit, but I need to book the time off work now, I am not sure when is best to go? Does it matter? I was thinking end of May / early June. Thoughts?

Thanks

J

Better weather is less chance of rain, not necessarily more sunshine.

    Europe is a big place.

Climate in Northern Sweden is very different to that in Southern Spain.

Don't try to cover too many places in 3 weeks, or you won't really experience any of them.

What languages do you speak? With most tourist places having signs in English, and local English-speakers, you'll get by. But if you speak a bit of the relevant language you can get off the beaten track much more easily.

Where you want to go will determine when the best time is.

Conversely, when you want to go might determine the best places to go at that time.

You must have some idea .... Do you want to experience the major cities of culture, laze on some beaches, walk some hills, go on a Europe-wide bar crawl, or do a variety of things. What are your interests at home? Do you want to seek out similar things abroad, or totally different things ...?
