It's a company vehicle, company is owned by my brother!

so your saying hold tight till I receive another letter? shall I not simply appeal based on the notice I have received? I prefer the latter so at least they know I am disputing the legal notice they have stuck on my windscreen.

So dispute it when you get it in the post. The advice here is tried and tested, if you want to go a different route you're on your own.

So (with your brother's agreement as he isn't liable in law due to their failings) send the appeal I have suggested in your brother's name but with your address so you get the reply, writing as KEEPER. You would be MAD to say who was driving seeing as that is the one piece of info they need.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

It's irrelevant whether they are members of either, martmonk was mistaken.

First thing is, was there a ticket on your windscreen or did you get this in the post? Or both?

    I've misunderstood https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/197528/Release_of_information_from_DVLA.pdf

I originally thought the para on having to be members of an ATA applied to all orgs. On second read that para is specific to 'management companies' which I guess leaves all landowners able to access the data without membership.
(Bottom of page 4 - I can't copy it on this tablet for some reason)

My apologies for causing the earlier confusion to the OP.
