Looks like I've bought from a non-performing seller...

Sniped a bargain at the start of the week, from a seller with good feedback.
Anyway, the tracking # they sent came up on Yodel as goods delivered in 2013 which rang alarm bells!
Then the seller emailed to say Yodel had in fact failed to pick-up on the agreed day
Emailed seller yesterday to ask if Yodel had picked up on second day, no reply to email.
Looks like it's a dead-beat seller who is peeved I sniped his auction....
I think I'm on 3 out of 3 for bad experiences with t'Bay :mad:

I just had one that messaged me less than an hour after the end of the auction to say they'd just noticed the item was damaged. I asked what wrong and they said it was beyond repair. I asked if they could send photos as it may not matter about the damage as it was for parts. They didn't reply...
The previous one said they'd decided to keep the item but couldn't end the auction early on iPhone and had sent me a message (which I hadn't received). This seemed a bit odd as they had managed to update the photos on the listing! I'd paid but had to open a dispute to get my money back. Eventually, after I got my refund, they emailed and said their internet had been down! For weeks!0 -

I've had Yodel tracking come up as an old date before, prior to pick-up, so it may be that your seller is genuine, particularly as they have contacted you once to explain that the item hadn't been collected on the correct day.
If you only messaged them yesterday, I'd give them a bit longer with the benefit of the doubt, I think.0 -
