Court Hearing

I have a problem, well my Mum does.
She is trying to reclaim all her charges back from Lloyds TSB and has now entered the court allocation stage.
She is, for lack of a better word, terrified. She is not well at the moment and is very worried about what to say in court.
The amount if for around £400. Is it normal for it to reach this stage?
I know when I did it it never reached this stage.
Please help, we don't know anyone else to help.
Thank You In Advance
