Travel insurance covering cancellation of annual leave?

Hi,
I'm just wondering if there are any travel insurance policies out there that would cover a situation where your employee cancels your annual leave due to factors outside your control.
I recently booked a holiday costing £4k in flights travelling in April 2015 and my employer has announced to everyone that it is going to be unusually busy around that time and that people's leave may be cancelled. I asked how likely this would be and was told it would only be in an emergency, particularly so given the cost of my holiday, but that I should purchase appropriate travel insurance just in case.
Any ideas please?
Thanks
Matt

Now that you have been told that it is reasonably likely to happen, any insurance claim would be void.
Time to look for another job, I think.0 -
Start by asking your employer what compensation they will offer for having to cancel already booked holidays.loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.0

It depends on your job, emergency services and armed forces normally are covered for holiday being cancelled but not anyone else.0
