I have a 1970s standard small three bedroom Wimpy house.

I have a quote for Roofline to exterior main roof

Strip off an drenew facias boards and bargeboards (white)
Strip off and renew soffit including new vents
Replace gutters and downpipes if damaged (black)
Complete new dry verge system to roof (colour to be confirmed)
Supply tower scaffolding for erection of roofline

Total plus vat £3264.15

Is this fair? It's part of a lot of work I'm getting done and the builder has sub contracted this part of it.

Any help gratefully received

My hubby is a roofer out working at the minute but I will ask him when he comes in and post what he says x

Thanks Poppy. I'm looking to sell soon and if I could possibly shave any money off it gives me more to spend elsewhere. It seems an awful lot for a house I'm not going to be in for much longer. the guttering certainly needs cleared and some of the facings do look worn so I'm not doubting the work needs done
