Euro Car Park fine

Hi,
I'm totally new to the forums, and have done my 'best' to try and understand the sticky forms regarding the forms but it's still struggling to stick.
Basically I got a Parking Charge Notice from Euro Car Park (£70) for parking in a free car park and exceed the time limit set (120 mins). 11:41 - 17:32 being the times in which I arrived and left.
Is there any point trying to fight this as it was over by so much?
I was also wondering that does the sticky still apply for people in Scotland i.e can I use the first appeal template to the PPC (Euro car park).
I do apologise and understand that you've probably heard this god knows how many times, I just can't get my head round it all.
Regards,
Almo

Nothing has changed in Scotland - So unless its a hire/lease/company or car otherwise not owned by you, you do not conteact these bams . Simply ignore them, file the increasingly hysterical letters for reference and get-on with life.
You only respond to properly issued Scottish court papers and despite recent efforts by another firm, the chances of that happening are exceptionally slim.

You didn't read it then, missed the fact there's a small section about Scotland specifically in it? Anyway same advice as here:I was also wondering that does the sticky still apply for people in Scotland

Easily found by putting the word 'Scotland' into 'search this forum' above the stickies. When you get debt collector letters put the most unusual keyword from their name (like 'Recovery' from Debt Recovery Plus) into the 'search this forum' heading before even thinking about posting. Everything has already been covered on this forum umpteen times and a good search of a keyword finds all of the info you need each time.
LOL - this is Scotland - you don't even have to 'fight it', you have no appeals process worth trying so can completely ignore the scam (albeit I now advise being proactive with a complaint and notice of cancellation, as long as you don't imply who was driving at any point). Only the driver could be remotely held liable and that won't happen and they don't know who that was (no they don't have a name for a face in the car!). They are writing to the registered keeper so what on earth makes you think the keeper should pay? Don't even think about it.Is there any point trying to fight this as it was over by so much?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
