I would be very doubtful to be honest.

Why not ring up DWP and find out for definite.

You should already be getting child benefit anyway.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

What happened to your guaranteed job ?
    Hello.
I am presently unemployed and considering few options..

Also would I get all other benefits but just my jsa allowance stopped or would all other benefits be stopped also, like help towards children etc.
I have a guaranteed job lined up in about 9 months time when my points come off my licence but will obviously keep looking in the meantime..
    Thank you.

DLA is based on care and /or mobility needs and not the diagnosis. Your child needs to have more needs than a child their own age. You won't get DLA just because you have a child with a disability.

No such thing as a heating allowance either.

There is, however, the cold weather payments. But you've got to be on an out of work benefit, meet other criteria and the average temperature must be 0 celcius for 7 consecutive days.

there is also the warm home discount.
this year it is £140 and is payable to people on certain benefits.
you need to look on your energy providers website to see if you meet their criteria. you have to apply before the end of january
