I need to ask about exemption certificates

    the fact that they didnt receive a new expemption card is their notification that entitlement has stopped! uf they had continued to be entitled they would have been sent a new one

    Very helpful. Thank you all. :) I will tell her in the morning and get her to get an HC1 from the doctors. :)

    Not sure what she will do about the £27 dental bill she got free (and the 3 prescriptions.) I will leave that to her whether she mentions it or not.

    As others have said, the chances are that once it works through the system it will be noticed, and she may then find that not only does she have to foot the original bill but she also has to pay a 'penalty charge' of up to £100 on top
