Can't say I know Poole well
But a quick search on rightmove shows a 2 bed apartment in same block for 92500. These are also shared ownership and can be problematic to sell
Also I found a new ish apartment on west quay road for 60000. So a big difference
My first property was a one bed apartment and I loved it and got carried away when I bought. Financially it was a disaster as I lost money when selling 5 years later
Unless prices are on the up I would advise not to pay over the odds as your be stuck. Also if you budget will stretch to a 2 bed that's a far better option as you will have options0 -
The problem with the two bed is the bedrooms don't have windows. They are doors but I am considering it.
Can you send me a link to the West Quay road one?:j
Planning for my future early

I used to have a shared ownership property and can tell you that something is very wrong here for the following reasons
A shared ownership property MUST be valued by a RICS qualified person and must be sold at that price, no more/no less.
Anyone wishing to purchase has to be referred to the housing association for eligibility checks. If there are more than one person wishing to purchase, they will assess all applicants and select who they wish to allow to have the property.0 -

I was going to say where I live you can't make an offers - what it goes on for is what you have to pay.£2 Savers club £0/£150
1p a day £/0 -
Carpi, have you read the shared ownership pages on this forum?
Just checking you know there are lots of disadvantages (even nightmares)in buying shared ownership properties. Best to walk in with eyes wide open.0 -
