faulty camera

hi,
I purchased a Panasonic camera on Ebay.
I got it from a dealer (who is still selling).
It went faulty after about 4 months into a 12 month warranty period.
I have sent it back to the seller who said that he received it and would send it back to Panasonic.
That was 5 weeks ago.
He does not respond to my emails.
What now.
Thanks in anticipation.

How did you fund it? If you paid by card you could ask your card company about a chargeback/section 75. If you paid by Paypal but funded with a card, you can still ask them but most will decline to help.
If you get nowhere with your payment provider, then send a Letter Before Action (google for a template) via 'signed for' delivery. Wait for his response.0 -

Panasonic would give a job number that can be tracked online for a repair under warranty.hi,

Hopefully you have tracking that the item was returned and received. If so you may be within Paypal's 180 days, so contact them and maybe even Ebay too. Otherwise the process of getting money back could be tricky.
Try getting more contact details for the seller and call or write to see if you can get somewhere. They may just be slow rather than dodgy but you never can tell. Trading Standards are a good option after exhausting other options before taking ny legal action..0
