Vanishingly unlikely that you'll be able to get any grants for a business, especially for premises, I'm afraid.Signature removed for peace of mind0

Businesses are generally expected to be financially viable without grants assistance to prep them up. Perhaps you should remain renting? Most businesses do - looking up my high street I know the vast majority of those businesses are in rented premises, from Primark down to the indies.0

Yes grants are usually given for a particular reason. For example, is it going to create employment?0 -
HAHAHAHA,
sorry but had to laugh... grants are like rocking horse poo, and if they are available, the criteria is soooo off the wall I am surprised anyone gets them...there are def no grants for you to help buy a premises...
I n this climate.. its def better to rent, and make sure you are a limited company... you honestly don't know what is around the corner.. especially with the government, cut backs etc...Work to live= not live to work0 -

Considering that being a Ltd company can increase the accountancy fees and not necessarily be more tax efficient. Its a common misconception that going Ltd is the best thing for all businesses when in fact it isn't.0 -
being a limited company provides more work for yourself ie 2 lots of accounts 1 for hmrc n other for companies house0

Even though there is extra costs etc, I still recommend if a business is of a certain size, to be a LTD company.. even if it is for peace of mind... especially in these uncertain times...
I know some people get x amount of money to go towards childcare costs, but the way the government are lately it wouldn't surprise me if they cut that too.
Talk to your accountant, and if he is a good one, and he can see you expanding etc, he should advise you on your options and one of them would be a Ltd company...
would you rather pay your accountant a bit extra, for the extra work, or lose everything you own, if the things change which are totally out of your control??Work to live= not live to work0 -
If there are grants available, research them properly some of them require you to jump through so many hoops its not always worth applying.0
