Extraction
Chunks

After an inline extractor fan gave up the ghost (located in my loft space) and I was up there at the weekend fitting a replacement. When it was all disconnected, I noticed the ducting (section after the extractor) was 'sweaty' and moldy on the inside. Clearly warm moist air from the bathroom below is condensing on the inner surface of the ducting giving the result I have now discovered. Is there any point lagging the ducting so that the moist air makes it to the outside before condensing?
