Halifax TMPP - which parts are MMPI?

Received my SAR showing my TMPP premiums today.
It seems to be split into 4 parts:
Life cover
Critical illness cover
Accident & sickness
Unemployment cover.
I realise that the unemployment cover is PPI but what about the accident and sickness? Thanks.

The only bit it the unemployment cover The accident and sickness is a PHI policy IIRC. Not PPI. Although some versions did only have a combined accident, sickness and unemployment which was a PPI.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Thanks, this is my husbands old TMPP policy and we only became aware that there was PPI when St Andrews group wrote to him last month.
Looking at the paperwork, it does look as though the accident and sickness element might be mortgage repayment cover. The life cover and critical illness both have a lump sum payout.
The others read like repayment cover:
Accident & sickness, level, customer premium split £21.38, cover amount £596.94
Unemployment, level, customer premium split £14.25, cover amount £596.94
There's scores of threads on TMPP but they all say the plan was split into 3 elements, I can't find any reference to anybody having 4 elements at all!0 -
In this case, it has 3 elements. They just have the option of having AS & U instead of ASU all combined.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Thanks dunstonh.
I suppose he may have been missold in terms of accident/sickness as he has fairly good sick pay (39 weeks) and had £30,000 in the bank at the time MPPI was added. I don't really know if he would have a complaint re: unemployment ppi though.
I have read on here that Halifax have auto-upheld complaints in the not too distant past, do you know what their current stance is?0 -
MPPI sees many complaints rejected for that reason (with 52 weeks sick pay). However, Halifax tend to auto payout on the MPPI element of TMPP.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
