Phoning Income Support Gloucester. There is no one there, obviously they are flooded but there is no back-up system in place so basically if you need to call 08456088624, don't bother!

Hi hapless you could try and ring dwp in another area the reason I am saying this is because my local dwp is only a mile and a half from me, but they don't deal with my claim Caerphilly one does and that is 6 seven miles away. Not sure why this is all my letters come from the caerphilly branch not pontypridd,.
Hope that makes sense. Hope you get it sorted.

tried that, got told to ring Gloucester. tried local office, got told to ring Gloucester or come in and use one of their phones to call gloucester. I live in Devon! I tried to call Swindon...sorry you need Gloucester.
What a load of %^*^. I was only calling to see if they had found OH P45 (as I was told to do) I guessed that they would be offline in the City but I would imagine they would have a backup system!
I feel sorry for anyone now needing to do a new claim today. The "Bloodlust" Clique - Morally equal to all. Member 10

Oh yeah, if one office holds your details, no other office has access to those records, just got told to "wait untill the water subsides and then phone" and in the meantime what exactly do we live on?
