Being cut off tomorrow

Wondered if anyone can help
My gas isdie to be cut off tomorrow. I do not have any money at mo to pay. I am self employed and work has been on the down for me not up I am applying for tax xredits which i dont want to do but savings have run out. Can anyone advise where i can get help please

you wont be cut off, thats very rare nowadays, all they will do is replace your credit gas meter with a gas prepay meter and load the meter with the debt with a weekly repayment for you to pay it off as you credit the prepay. I think the max they can take per week is £16 but that would be for a debt of well over £1000. Usually the weekly repay is in the order of £6-£10 a week. Disconnections are only done nowadays for frequent tampers/bypass only and never in the case of "vulnerable " occupiers. It makes more sense for suppliers to go down the prepay route and collect the debt on that0
