Advice needed: Cancelling a Paid Parking Season Ticket

My first post here, as I am seeking some advice.
In August I bought and paid for in full a years parking Season ticket with NCP as I was looking for the cheapest possible deal.
I have used the carpark now for 2 and a half months, but since September (Schools going back) the traffic has been so awful getting out of the carpark, that in some cases it's taking me two hours to drive 5 miles home, so I have looked into cancelling the ticket and try to get back some of the money for unused months as the position of the car park is not suitable.
I contacted NCP and they said I cannot cancel / get a refund because I do not fit into the 'situations' they list on their terms and conditions.
Within their terms;
You cannot cancel the season ticket unless you fit a certain situation:
- They breach the agreement (i.e prevent people from using the car park)
- You loose your job
- You are diagnosed with an illness / unable to work
- Your move house
- You change your primary place of work
full terms can be found by searching for it online.
What I want to know, is whether they are right to offer refunds to certain individuals but others not - and whether this is discrimination in any way? Are they just offering goodwill to those and not me and are they within full rights to do this.
I have contacted them regarding this and the communication has been good but they're not prepared to cancel / refund unused (unless I fit one of the situations) and I am also not allow to sell the ticket - if they find out then they will cancel it.
Had a paid direct debit, then this would have been a simple question of cancelling, but I am now tied in having paid them.
I realise that this is partly my fault for paying upfront and the traffic is not their responsibility but I wanted to hear anyone's thoughts on whether there could be a different approach to trying to get back some of the unused money.
many thanks

You agreed a contract which the other party have not breached - why do you think you have rights to cancel? You are aware contracts are binding on both parties?0
-
You have no right to break a contract especially as they are supplying the service .
Pointless having discounted services if any old reason can be used to cancel and refund .
They are entitled to refund at their discretion and many companies would not even refund under the circumstances posted .
If you cancelled a DD payment then you would still be in contract and breaking the contract and owing would lead to your credit record getting trashed .0 -
The other circumstances are a goodwill gesture one which they don't need to provide but does form part of the contract. Your circumstances are non of those so you have no rights.0

The position if the car park hasn't changed since you bought the season ticket. You should have considered that before you bought it.0
