Are you able to get on to your local education authority to arrange free transport for your child? If you live more than a certain distance from the local school, they have to fund it. My two got taxis to and from school for many years, but it was only when someone else mentioned that I might be entitled that we applied.
Give your LEA a call - they will soon be sorting everything out for the next school year.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Try pushing them again for something more practical - no way should they expect a 6 year old to have that sort of a walk - push the dead body issue and see if you can get something better.
Worth a phone call, possibly? The worst they can say is "no".Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

£372 strikes me as alot for car insurance. I'd try and get this cheaper if I were you! Even if your not at the end of your yearly policy, it could work out cheaper to change now rather than later.0
