iPad and Yahoo email App.

Looking for some techy advice. I'm not particularly techy so bear with me.

I have an ipad 2. When I first had it, I had a Blueyonder (virgin media) email account. The emails were set up so I also received them to my ipad as well as my pc.

I cancelled my Virgin Media account some time ago and my blueyonder email went with it.

I set up a yahoo email account. Originally this was also set up to receive emails on both pc and ipad. Initially this was fine.

Yahoo then changed security settings so that there was a double level of security. This effectively meant that when trying to get into my emails on my ipad, yahoo thought that I was being hacked so stopped access.

It was suggested to me at the Apple Store that the dedicated Yahoo email App was a better solution, so I installed this app.

The problem now is that it is dangerously slow. Even when I am sat next to my router, it can take up to 10 minutes to deleted just 10 emails. Not only that, when I delete the emails, then switch my ipad off, I find that when I turn the ipad back on sometime later, those emails that I thought had been deleted have reappeared.

Has anybody got any idea how I can get over this or is there something I am doing wrong?

Before people suggest abandoning Yahoo, its not really an option as my yahoo email address is linked to my business email address and would cause untold problems if I changed it.

Thanks for any help or suggestions.
