Praise for Premier Inn

Shocker I know but recently stopped at premier inn sheffield really enjoyed it.

Beds comfy hotel as to be expected two points really surprised me.

1 - Buy one get one free on all drinks 5-7 you get a voucher for second drink to be redeemed all night brilliant

2- staff members have badges indicating the languages they speak something little but a nice touch.

All in all for £70 all in cant and won't complain

    What languages did they speak?

Sheffield's never struck me as being a cosmopolitan city!
  • yes, i have to say they seem to have improved greatly - we stayed at the heathrow one and considering how busy it was and most people are only staying one night the team there were very good

I've stayed in many Premier Inn hotels and they're usually clean and comfortable.

I like the Hypnos comfortable beds and choice of pillows. The staff in the hotels are usually friendly, welcoming and helpful. The staff in the restaurants are sullen and slow to seat you, take your order for the cooked breakfast and bring it to your table.

If anyone from Premier Inn is reading this, you need to offer free WiFi for the duration of the stay. Also, replace the thin greying scratchy towels for new white fluffy towels.;)

I also wish they had a dampening device on the door closing mechanisms. When guests make an early departure, the slamming of doors in the early hours of the morning ruins any chance of a lie in.

Breakfasts are usually worth it staying at Premier Inns as well. It's good value overall. I agree with the door damping, they do shut hard. I can't hear as I'm Deaf but I can feel doors shutting nearby.
  • I enjoy staying at Premier Inn's, my only gripe is that i never seem to see Lenny Henry!

I stayed at one of the Milton Keynes Premier Inns a couple of weeks ago and it had "experimental" unlimited free Wi-Fi. It said you could pay to get faster speeds, but it was fine with my tablet. Hopefully this will be rolled out at some stage.

A few extra tea bags and milk cartons without having to ask for them would be nice though.

We stay often at Leeds Arena Premier Inn and also Quayside Newcastle.

Excellent hotels, great rooms, great service, clean and comfy.

I do agree with the offer of free wifi though, you do actually get half an hour free.

Breakfasts are great although a little expensive, I wish you could just buy a single item, ie a bacon sandwich or something similar.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

I don't think I've ever been in a hotel where for breakfast you can have just a bacon sandwich. It's either a full English or a continetal. If you want just a bacon sandwich I would suggest you find a sandwich shop or a greggs?

OH and I are great fans of Premier Inn, staying regularly at Manchester Airport and Ashford Central, where the staff were wonderful to us in a family crisis.

On the one occasion we flew from Heathrow last year, we made the mistake of staying in The Park Inn. Tiny room, albeit 'an upgrade', and bed linen which was too small for the bed, made for a dreadful night.
